The KDT-5000 terminal offers a unique ergonomic design, full 8 line backlit display (with user programmable font sizes to facilitate easier message reading by individual users), most foreign languages can be displayed, forward/backward scroll, and 5 user programmable function keys. It can be integrated with GPS systems, credit card/bar code readers, printers, keyboards, and vehicle monitoring systems. All system messages are encrypted to prevent unauthorized interception. The modem is built into the KDT-5000, to facilitate installation in the vehicle and reduce cost.

The KDT system has also been designed to operate with existing communication systems. We can easily integrate into your existing trunking system, and with existing customer mobile radios. Our fast 6000 bps data throughput allows 500-2400 data messages per hour, depending on the job size, number of channels, and other radio system parameters----including vehicle acknowledgment.
